APBC is a Baptist church founded in the early 1960s in the small town of Anchor Point on the Kenai Peninsula, about 200 miles south of Anchorage. Anchor Point is known for being the most westerly point on the highway system in North America. It is also known for its beautiful views of Cook Inlet and great world class salmon and halibut fishing.
APBC is conservative in our worship and focused on equipping the saints for service and maturity (Ephesians 4). As the New Testament commands, our Lord’s Day worship service consists of the public reading and preaching of Scripture, prayer, giving, singing, and the ordinances (Believer Baptism and Communion).
We invite you to join us in worshipping the only Savior, Jesus Christ, who lived and died for our sins, and was raised in triumph and glory on the third day.
